4 Reasons Why I love Gretchen Rubin’s Blog

1. Like Solomon the ancient, Rubin has been
given much wisdom. Whether she’s
petitioned God for it, or acquired it on her own, she is constantly wowing her
followers with the content she posts. When I think of her mighty presence in
the blogosphere, I think of the scripture, “To whom much is given, much is
required” Luke 12:48. I am better for reading her posts on Facebook, Twitter
Instagram, her books, and listening to her podcasts. She works hard to make her
presence known.
2. Her most recent blog post is an interview with Anya Kamenetz, author of The Art of Screen Time: How Your Family Can Balance Digital Media and Real Life. It is good information to master technology and screen time. Kamenetz believes that we will look back on this smartphone era much like we look back on the hazards of smoking or not using seatbelts. She said, “WHAT were people thinking?” She recommends: “Enjoy screens. Not too much. Mostly with others.”
3. Rubin posts her research of happiness and human nature. Her writings always resonate with me. She is author of some of my favorite books: The Happiness Project, Happier at Home, Better than Before, and The Four Tenedencies.
4. She’s a sage. People love her. I’m a devotee.
